We’re pleased to announce that Steven Picache has joined our team as a Software Engineer. As is standard practice around here whenever someone new joins us, we've asked Steven to answer a few questions. Why Software Development?
I like Software Development because of the challenge, collaboration, and opportunity to learn something new.
What kind of development do you like? Mobile? Web? Something else?
Right now, I like working on Mobile and Backend! It started with an influence from my mentor back in college. He showed me some of his projects then I got interested and started learning them.
Recommend one thing (maybe a book, movie, album,TV show, physical experience…) Why?
Game of Thrones! It’s built differently, characters are well-casted, the story is VERY unpredictable, and it is ridiculously smart!
What’s your favourite new (or old) discovery in Waterloo Region?
Sonny’s charbroiled burgers beside Conestoga College in Waterloo is a must try.
Share a cool thing that folks might like to know about you?
I am a big NBA and UFC fan. I play billiards, chess, basketball, and I also love to run.
