We’re as pleased as we could be to announce that Jackson Noël has joined our team as a Software Engineer. Here’s a chance to meet him through his answers to our now-standard questions, and to read about his favourite new discovery in Waterloo Region.
Why Software Development?
I have always had an interest in computers since I was younger and wanted to know how they worked and how to program them.
What kind of development do you like? Mobile? Web? Something else?
I enjoy both mobile and web development. I also have some interest in AI and game development even though I haven’t got around to them too much yet.
Recommend one thing (maybe a book, movie, album, TV show, physical experience…) Why?
A book I would recommend is Sapiens. It is a great telling of the human story. I would also highly recommend travelling to Thailand if you get the chance! The people are very friendly, the beaches are beautiful, and the food is amazing.
What’s your favourite new (or old) discovery in Waterloo Region?
Chicken and waffles at The Grand Trunk Saloon. Also their coffee and cigarettes drink is delicious.

I like to travel and I am terrified of heights.
