We’re excited to report that Kesiena Eboh has joined the Zeitpace team as a designer. As we did last week with Megan Pollock, we asked Kesiena a few questions for this post, and amidst a busy first week he sent us some answers.
Why UX Design?
I love people and I love to solve problems. UX Design encourages a multidisciplinary, collaborative approach to solving human problems with technology. I enjoy the satisfaction that comes at the end of the process, the journey from complex problems to useful solutions that potentially makes the lives of people better and happier.
What kind of design do you like?
I don’t particularly have a favourite; every platform has different sets of constraints and opportunities that make designing for them challenging and exciting. That being said, I’m always interested in keeping up with new technology as they emerge, and understanding what it means to design for these platforms of the future.
Recommend one thing (maybe a book, movie, album, TV Show, physical experience…) Why?
The NetFlix series Black Mirror. If you like to explore what a slightly dystopian, technology-dominated future looks like, this one’s for you.
What’s your favourite new (or old) discovery in Waterloo Region?
Being Nigerian and a lover of food, discovering the Nigerian grocery store in downtown Kitchener has literally changed my life.
Share a cool thing that folks might like to know about you?
Deep lover of music and food; will sing for food.
